"History teaches that whenever new needs arise in a society, there are people ready to satisfy them by furnishing what the people are asking for. This is how humanity changes and evolves according to its needs. Necessity, therefore, is the mother of invention in all spheres of life.
We can observe these same laws in the artistic and spiritual realms. Why are there so few artists who create sublime works? Because there are very few people who are capable of appreciating them. The enlightened desires and needs of a few cannot influence artistic creation as a whole. And if the kingdom of God has not yet been realized on earth, it is because there are so few who feel the need for it. If a great many people were to demand peace and abundance for the entire world, it would be realized."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
