Living books - which we need
"The most remarkable thing in highly spiritual beings is not their perfect features. Whatever they may look like, their beauty is in their light, in all that emanates from them. Even when they are silent, their whole being speaks, and when they speak their whole being enhances their words. They are a book, the best kind of book, a living book.
And living books are precisely what we all need. Once we have read the others, we put them back on the shelf and forget about them, whereas living books do not allow us to forget them; they keep reminding us of their presence."
