"Strive to have an essential idea in your life, a divine ideal to which you are constantly linked, for by doing so you will be able to engage in your various activities without running the risk of dissipating your energies. Each activity is just one of the numerous forms or manifestations of the spirit. At the centre is the spirit, and everything must find its place in relation to this centre, for human life to be unified. In this way each activity contributes to the perfecting and blossoming of humankind.
True spirituality means that, whatever you are doing, you succeed in keeping your sights fixed on the spirit. Just as the brain controls all our physical functions, the spirit must control all our activities. The spirit has the right to disperse itself for the purpose of animating creation, but humans must walk toward unity. If they do not, dispersion, for them, means death."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
