"The universe forms an immense unity in which everything is linked. So every physical object corresponds to something on the subtle planes, particularly on the astral plane. Mages base their activity on this law: they link a certain object with its corresponding current of forces; the object is used as an aid to mobilizing these forces.
An object made of beautiful material, with harmonious lines and beautiful colours, corresponds to something beneficial and life-giving on the subtle planes. Thanks to these forces, which are also represented by the divine virtues, you can use such an object to stir up the higher layers of the astral plane.
