Sunrise, The - the benefit of contemplating it
"The sunrise – that splendid event that takes place each morning – is worth going to see, even if it’s hard for you to get up early in the morning, even if you’re half asleep. You may say you won’t gain anything from it if you’re half asleep. But you are mistaken: in spite of yourself and even though you are unaware of it, work is going on, the results of which will appear much later, and you will be astounded.
Someone who lived through scenes of violence and tragic events as a child wasn’t yet old enough to understand what was happening to them, but one day these dramas begin to resurface in the form of anxieties and behavioural difficulties that are very hard to heal. Everything, whether we understand it or not, is recorded and may one day come back up to the surface. That is why, even if you don’t ‘understand’ anything about the cosmic phenomenon of a sunrise, just have the right attitude, and your spirit, soul and body will receive certain elements, which will express themselves later in you in the form of harmony, peace and light."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
