"What we call truth is always our truth. This is why there is a rich, living truth for those who are capable of sensing things beyond appearances, and a poor truth for those who can’t. You will say: ‘Yes, but when people talk about truth, they are referring to an objective reality independent of themselves.’ Yes, but in order to be perceived, this objective reality must be filtered through each person’s subjectivity.
How is it, for example, that scholars can never agree about the existence of God? These are people who have the same scientific training, the same intelligence, the same material data on which to base their judgments… and yet they come to different conclusions! Some sense the presence of a Creator in the richness and marvellous organization of matter, while others see only a well-organized mechanism which they attribute to chance. This proves beyond a doubt that objective, material reality is filtered through each person’s subjectivity."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
