Presence and absence - there is no better activity than to win the presence of the Lord
"In the absence of light, darkness is present. In the absence of health, sickness is present. In the absence of wisdom, folly and stupidity are present. And so it goes for everything else: the presence of one thing implies the absence of another. This is such a simple, obvious truth. But you have not yet acquired the ability to observe the events unfolding before your eyes, and to transpose them into your inner life so as to reach a much broader understanding.
And now let me tell you that there is no better activity for a disciple than to work to win and keep the presence of the Lord within themself. Of course, the Lord may not come to you in person, but He will at least send his angels, who are his representatives, to dwell in you and transform everything.*"Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
