"When anguish and torment begin to assail you, you must not stand your ground and struggle against these negative states, because you will not be able to loosen their hold. You must find other means.
When a bird is pecking in the soil for seeds and a cat approaches, what does the bird do? It does not stay there to confront the cat; it flies away. You will say: ‘But how do we fly?’ By moving, through thought and prayer, to the regions where peace, beauty and light reign. Certain books and pieces of music can help you, as well as contact with nature and work with your imagination. What is essential is not to remain where you are, but to move to higher ground."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
